Description

Our client a (Fashion Brand) needs a production manager who would oversee production process, ensuring production is cost effective by drawing up a production schedule and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality

Work- type: Fulltime
Location: Oniru Lekki.
Working hours: Mon – Fri | 9am-6pm
Salary: N70,000 – N90,000

Responsibilities

  • Forward, creative and proactive thinking as well as an ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Managing the design process from conception through to final styling
  • Handling clients' consultation sessions Ability to fashion illustrate using computer-generated images.
  • Ability to communicate both technical and creative ideas to the creative director.
  • Liaising with customers and vendors.
  • Assisting clients in making design decisions by proposing changes or alterations. Inspecting fabric/end design to look for design or production errors.
  • Performing extensive market trend research to understand competitive opportunities

Qualifications

  • BSc in Fashion Design/Fashion Merchandising
  • Min of 4years experience in production management
  • Knowledge and understanding of fabrics and print techniques
  • Must have a full understanding of garment construction (start to finish); that is patterning, cutting, draping, sewing and the difference sewing techniques to achieve design.
  • Must be meticulous in record keeping, production schedule, time management and then eye for detail and quality products.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat + Microsoft Excel +Word, Google Docs

Person Specificificaton

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills required.
  • Be willing to adapt and collaborate
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be meticulous in record keeping, production schedule, time management and then eye for detail And quality products.
  • Knowledgeable of current trends as it relates to the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦90,000.00 per month

  • Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
